Off-road tuning for the Cupra Formentor: JE DESIGN gives the Spanish car a massive all-terrain look with wheel arch extensions in off-road textured paint, roof-mounted LED worklights, 18-inch rims with chunky tyres and a suspension lift.

The specialist for Cupra accessories has converted a Formentor into an off-roader as a project car: The "All Terrain" is raised and combines the add-on parts coated in textured paint with metal-look foiling. The SUV coupe stands three centimetres higher on chunky 18-inch wheels, while spacer discs widen the track to match the wheel arch extensions installed. The flap exhaust system provides the right sound.

The aero components installed are familiar from the "road version" of the JE DESIGN widebody conversion. In this off-road version, however, the wheel arch extensions have optical screw fittings and are custom-made especially for the project car. The tuner therefore does not offer this variant as standard, but of course offers the wheel arch extensions in the familiar version without the optical screw fittings. An equally striking part of the all-terrain conversion is the LED light strip on the roof. This is approved as a work light and is also painted in robust textured paint. The tuner emphasises the beefy look with air outlet trims on the front wing and rear bumper. There is also a two-piece rear spoiler and a diffuser insert at the rear. When driving off-road, towing a trailer is often necessary. The diffuser insert can therefore be easily removed and the fold-out trailer coupling can still be used. The rear view is rounded off by the four silver-coated exhaust tailpipes of the flap system.

With the lift kit, JE DESIGN increases the ground clearance by a full three centimetres. Combined with the 225/50 R18 chunky Yokohama tyres, the off-road capability of the Cupra is noticeably increased. The tyres are mounted on black 18-inch rims with a customised surface finish. The wide outer ring has been over lathed. As a result, the deeper elements in the outer ring stand out in colour, creating the right off-road look. These rims and the fitted wheel spachers are also exclusively reserved for the project car and are not normally offered for sale. The wheel bolts, as well as other elements on the vehicle, are painted in the company colour "JE-Purple".
