JE DESIGN delivers its latest bombshell in the form of a Widebody-Kit for the recently face-lifted Seat Leon Cupra 300. The full tuning and personalisation programme for this five-door hot hatch includes a power bump of up to 380hp, an adjustable rear wing, suspension upgrades, complete alloy wheel and tyre sets, and an acoustic flap sports exhaust system.
The recently introduced JE DESIGN Leon Cupra 300 ST Widebody has now been joined by a hot hatch variant whose wide-body conversion comes with full TUV approval for Germany and Switzerland.
With four huge wheel arch extensions visually linked by prominent side skirts, the JE DESIGN Seat Leon Cupra 300 impresses with its squat and purposeful stance. The new front bumper with big air ducts underlines the sporty ambitions of this very unique Spanish toreador, while at the rear JE DESIGN offers gloss black finish rear diffuser inserts. An adjustable tailgate spoiler tops off the bodywork alterations. This prominent makeover comes with full TUV certification for the EU and Switzerland.
JE DESIGN offers tailor-made chassis upgrade solutions for the new Seat Leon Cupra 300. The basic conversion is a sport spring set designed for use with the original dampers , which provides a 20mm drop in ride height and sportier handling. The more hard-core enthusiasts can opt for the KW DDC fully adjustable coil over suspension , which features plug & play adaptation to the factory electronic damper controller. This allows the hot hatch to be lowered by up to 45mm for even better looks and handling.
Drivers looking for the performance to match the aggressive new looks can choose from two levels of performance enhancement. JE DESIGN offer a power module linked to the factory ECU that increases the output of the turbocharged 2.0 litre four-cylinder motor from 300 to 360hp, with torque climbing from 380 to 450Nm. Acceleration is improved, and top-speed goes up to 265 km/h.
JE DESIGN’s Stage 2 conversion builds on this with an EC approved 76-millimeter exhaust downpipe, which lowers exhaust gas backpressure. The result is 380hp with 470 Nm of torque, and top speed can be increased to 280 or 285 km/h by raising the electronic limit. Both conversions require the use of a minimum of 98 octane (Super Plus) unleaded fuel and have a two-year guarantee from the date of first registration.
The JE DESIGN stainless steel exhaust with sound flap system provides an appropriately sporting soundtrack, and comes with EC and Swiss type approvals. The flap system is controlled via the OE Seat driving profile selection system. When the flap is closed (Comfort and Sport), the exhaust sounds subtly sporty, but in Cupra mode the system delivers a deep, sonorous sound. The exhaust silencer offers the choice of either four distinctive 80mm diameter outlets, or two oval tailpipes of 140 x 90mm or 160 x 90 mm dimensions per side.
